CVE-2025-56499Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked rule-provider path

Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025

Arbitrary file read in MetaCubeX mihomo 1.19.11 allows remote authenticated users to disclose local file contents through its API. The file-type rule-provider parser resolves an attacker-supplied path without enforcing IsSafePath, then exposes file fragments from parse errors through the /logs endpoint. Access to the external controller secret and configuration API is required, and readable files inherit the mihomo process's operating-system privileges.
