Sensitive service access via embedded production API keys

Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025

Hard-coded API keys in Dietly 1.25.0 for Android allow remote attackers to access sensitive production data and services. The com.dietly.panel.BuildConfig class embeds production API keys in the APK, so decompilation reveals secrets treated as confidential. No authentication or user interaction is required after obtaining the app; the grounded consequences are key disclosure and unauthorized service access.
