Memory corruption in radiff2 for radareorg radare2 5.9.9 allows local users to crash the process by enabling experimental threading. With -T, worker initialization reaches __cons_pal_update_event, which writes through an invalid near-null address in an AddressSanitizer build. The public reproduction requires a sanitizer-enabled Ubuntu build and a complex command line; the maintainer disputes a real-world race outside AddressSanitizer.
