Arbitrary directory deletion via unsanitized plugin path
Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Path traversal in Fearless Geek Media FearlessCMS 0.0.2-15 allows remote authenticated users to delete server-accessible directories. admin/plugin-handler.php concatenates the POST plugin_slug value with PLUGIN_DIR without validation, then passes the resulting path to a recursive directory-deletion routine. An administrative session is required, and traversal sequences can delete directories writable by the web server, interrupting the site and destroying stored data.
