Email forgery via unfiltered SMTP receiver input
Published Jan 8, 2026 · Updated Jan 8, 2026
SMTP command injection in enaio AppConnector 10.10, 11.0, and 11.10 allows remote authenticated users to forge email via sendmail. The sendmail endpoint inserts the receiver value into its SMTP exchange without filtering CRLF sequences, allowing injected DATA and message headers. A valid enaio session is required; the attacker can choose the displayed sender, recipients, subject, and HTML body to send forged messages.
