Database disclosure via unvalidated statistics sort direction
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
SQL injection in LimeSurvey before 6.15.4 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through the statistics interface. The Statistics listcolumn path appends the attacker-controlled sortmethod value to the query order clause without restricting it to ASC or DESC. The controller checks statistics-read permission, although the published CVSS assessment records no privileges required; the bounded consequence is database disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
