CVE-2025-56399Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via upload-and-rename bypass

Published Oct 28, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Code injection in alexusmai laravel-file-manager 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via file uploads. The upload path persists a PHP-bearing file despite client-side extension validation, and the rename API permits changing its suffix to .php. An account with file-manager access can expose the renamed file on a public disk; requesting its URL runs the payload in the web server context.
