Authenticated SQL query manipulation via change_to_admin
Published Jun 5, 2025 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
SQL injection in /admin/users.php in Code Projects Content Management System and NEWS-BUZZ 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries. The change_to_admin GET value enters a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, enabling error-based and time-based injection. An authenticated session is required; the demonstrated payloads disclose query behavior through database errors or response delays.
