Improper access control in Aztech DSL5005EN firmware 1.00.AZ_2013-05-10 allows remote attackers to replace the administrator password. The /cgi-bin/sysAccess.asp management endpoint accepts an unauthenticated HTTP POST and writes uiViewTools_Password as the stored administrator credential. No prior access or user interaction is required; the changed credential permits a subsequent administrator login, while specific post-login actions remain undocumented.
