Mobile-number verification bypass via unrestricted OTP guessing
Published Oct 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 20, 2025
Authentication bypass in Ascertia SigningHub 8.6.8 allows remote authenticated users to verify another user's mobile number. The mobile-number OTP verification endpoint accepts unrestricted guesses because it neither rate-limits attempts nor revokes the code after repeated failures. An authenticated account and a target mobile number are required; a correct brute-forced OTP permits impersonation of that number during verification.
