Database compromise via injectable admin username
Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
SQL injection in admin/index.php in PHPGurukul Hospital Management System 4.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via username. The admin login handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the username field, and the published payload executes a nested time-delay query. The exposed sign-in endpoint requires no established session; successful injection permits database disclosure, modification, deletion, or service interruption.
