Database manipulation via profile mobile-number SQL injection
Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 5, 2025
SQL injection in /admin/profile.php in PHPGurukul Online Fire Reporting System 1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The profile update handler passes the POST mobilenumber value into a MySQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, as a time-delay SLEEP payload demonstrates. A valid administrator session is required; exploitation grants the database access available to the web application's MySQL account.
