Authenticated command execution via module_set POST injection
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
OS command injection in Ruijie X60 PRO V1.00/V2.00 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands via POST requests. The module_set handler in /usr/local/lua/dev_config/config_retain.lua passes crafted POST data to an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Low-privileged access to the network-reachable Lua service is required, after which commands run with the service's device privileges.
