Authenticated command execution via action_deal_update
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
OS command injection in Ruijie RG-BCR860 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands via crafted POST requests. The action_deal_update handler in /usr/lib/lua/luci/controller/api/rcmsAPI.lua is the identified command-execution locus, but the public report does not disclose the affected POST parameter or command-building statement. A valid low-privilege session is required; successful exploitation runs commands on the router and can read or alter data or interrupt service.
