Authenticated memory corruption via crafted LAN mask
Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC18 15.03.05.05 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a crafted LAN mask request. The fromadvsetlanip handler processes the lanMask argument at /goform/AdvSetLanip without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. A low-privileged management session is required, and the published evidence demonstrates an overflow trigger rather than code execution.
