Authenticated command execution via IPTV list injection
Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025
Command injection in Tenda AC18 15.03.05.05 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands via the IPTV settings endpoint. The formSetIptv function in /goform/SetIPTVCfg uses the attacker-controlled list argument in a command without neutralizing command syntax. A valid management session is required; injected commands can read or alter router data and interrupt routing services.
