Unauthenticated data disclosure via unguarded NBI routes
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Improper access control in the GenieACS 1.2.13 NBI API allows remote attackers to read sensitive management data without authentication. The /users, /files, and /provisions routes process unauthenticated GET requests and return password hashes, salts, file listings, and provisioning details. Exploitation requires network access to the NBI service on port 7557; the published assessment limits impact to confidentiality.
