Buffer overflow in the PASSIVE command handler in Freefloat AB Freefloat FTP Server 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. A crafted PASSIVE argument reaches the saved return address after 293 bytes and replaces it with a JMP-ESP address before attacker-supplied shellcode. An FTP connection and anonymous login are sufficient; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied Windows code in the server process.
