Authenticated internal service access via unrestricted downloader URL
Published Sep 18, 2025 · Updated Sep 18, 2025
SSRF in ClipBucket 5.5.2 Build #90 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request attacker-selected URLs. In upload/actions/file_downloader.php, the file parameter reaches the remote-resource fetch path without restrictions on schemes, destination hosts, or private and link-local address ranges. A valid low-privilege session is required; resulting requests expose internal services and can disclose data returned by reachable metadata endpoints.
