CVE-2025-55893Public exploit

Unauthenticated command execution via hostName injection

Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025

Command injection in TOTOLINK N200RE firmware 9.3.5u.6437_B20230519 allows remote attackers to execute commands via hostName. The setOpModeCfg request handler incorporates the hostName value into an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Reachability requires adjacent-network access, but no authentication or user interaction; exploitation can alter router state without reported confidentiality or availability impact.
