Browser script execution via unsanitized accountName response
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Cross-site scripting in ARD GEC En Ligne allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through its Ajax transaction manager endpoint. The endpoint renders the attacker-controlled accountName value from an intercepted Ajax response without sanitizing or encoding it. The attacker must intercept and alter that response; execution in the user's browser can expose cookies and enable session hijacking.
