Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode id parameter
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Tushar Gohel's Ajax Load More and Infinite Scroll 1.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via id. The shortcode renderer places the id parameter into generated page markup without adequate input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to save a crafted value, and the resulting script executes when a visitor opens the injected page.
