Browser script execution via unescaped reportType
Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in JeeWMS 3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via reportType. LogController copies reportType into a Highchart type property, and userBroswer.jsp inserts the value directly into JavaScript without escaping or allowlist validation. A victim must open the crafted getBroswerBar request; the injected code runs in the JeeWMS origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
