Bitbucket token disclosure via fragment-preserving OAuth redirect
Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Aug 29, 2025
Sensitive information exposure in Gitpod Classic before main-gha.33628 allows remote attackers to obtain Bitbucket access tokens via crafted links. The OAuth completion flow used ordinary redirects that retained Bitbucket's access-token URL fragment while following an attacker-controlled return destination. A Gitpod-authenticated Bitbucket user must click the link; GitHub and GitLab integrations are unaffected, and the disclosed token permits Bitbucket access within its scopes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
