Remote code execution via unsanitized SVG artifact
Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Aug 19, 2025
Code injection in ThinkInAIXYZ DeepChat before 0.3.1 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted deepchat URL. The deep-link handler auto-submits attacker-controlled artifact content, SvgArtifact.vue places raw SVG into v-html, and exposed Electron IPC starts a crafted MCP command. A victim must accept the browser's request to open DeepChat; the payload then runs commands on the host without further interaction.
