CVE-2025-5573Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via persisted AdminID injection

Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

OS command injection in D-Link DCS-932L 2.18.01 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through AdminID. The alphapd setSystemWizard/setSystemControl handlers save the unvalidated AdminID value with nvram_bufset, and setSystemAdmin later incorporates it into an OS command. Reaching both HTTP handlers requires Basic-authenticated access; successful injection can start telnetd and yield a shell on the camera.
