Remote code execution via unescaped column width
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Eval injection in XWiki SAS XWiki Pro Macros before 1.26.5 allows remote attackers to execute code through the column macro width parameter. ConfluenceColumn.xml interpolates the unescaped width value into XWiki 2.1 syntax for a style attribute and data-width, permitting injected macros to be evaluated. A user who can edit any page or access the CKEditor HTML converter can reach the flaw; Groovy execution requires a programming-right installation, while Velocity runs with wiki-admin authority.
