CVE-2025-5572Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via oversized SMTP port

Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

Stack overflow in D-Link DCS-932L 2.18.01 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via an oversized SMTP port value. The setSystemEmail handler stores EmailSMTPPortNumber without length validation, and the mail process later copies the value into a fixed stack buffer. Basic-authenticated access to the camera's web configuration is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a persistent service crash.
