Authentication bypass via direct MainActivity launch
Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025
Authentication bypass in the Reolink App 4.54.0.4.20250526 lock screen allows attackers to access protected app data through ADB. An ADB activity-manager launch invokes MainActivity directly instead of following ForegroundLockActivity, leaving the app-lock credential check outside the execution path. An ADB connection and device-owner interaction are required; the bypass exposes data and functions otherwise protected by the in-app lock.
