CVE-2025-55621Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Profile-photo disclosure via user-controlled object reference

Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Sep 4, 2025

IDOR in Reolink 4.54.0.4.20250526 allows remote attackers to download other users' profile photos through a crafted URL. The profile-photo request accepts a user-controlled object reference and returns the referenced image without enforcing owner-specific authorization. No authentication or user interaction is required, although Reolink disputes the issue because profile-photo discovery is intentional social-platform behavior.
