HTML injection via rendered profile name
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
HTML injection in Hyundai Navigation App STD5W.EUR.HMC.230516.afa908d allows attackers to render crafted markup through a profile name. The profile editor accepts a 14-character HTML payload and the profile page renders the stored value as markup rather than text. Access to the in-vehicle profile settings is required; displayed content can be altered, while script execution remains unconfirmed without a length-limit bypass.
