CVE-2025-55611Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated router crash via unchecked nextPage copy

Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025

A stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L 2.06B01 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted nextPage parameter. The formLanguageChange function in the boa binary copies nextPage into a fixed-size stack buffer without checking its length, overwriting the return address. The web-management request requires no authentication; the proof of concept demonstrates a persistent service crash, while arbitrary code execution is claimed but not demonstrated.
