Service interruption via unchecked stack copy
Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-619L 2.06B01 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted submit-url parameter. The boa formSysCmd handler copies the unbounded parameter into a stack local, overwriting the function return address. A single unauthenticated HTTP POST can interrupt routing services; public evidence demonstrates a crash but not code execution.
