Unauthenticated command execution via crafted upload filename
Published Aug 18, 2025 · Updated Aug 18, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A3002R firmware 4.0.0-B20230531.1404 allows remote attackers to execute commands through a file upload. The bupload.htm handler passes the multipart filename field into a command string that reaches system() without neutralizing shell metacharacters. No authentication is required; successful exploitation runs commands with the web service's privileges and permits router data modification.
