Cross-user script execution via unsanitized client names
Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Stored XSS in the Clients module of SolidInvoice 2.3.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. The client creation flow stores the Name field without neutralizing script markup, and the Clients list renders the saved value as executable content. An account that can add clients is required, and another authenticated user must view the Clients page, exposing that user's session and allowing actions in that user's context.
