Stored script execution via unneutralized tax-rate name
Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Stored XSS in SolidInvoice 2.3.7 Tax Rates allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The Name field accepts an image element with an onerror handler, stores it, and renders it unneutralized on the Tax Rates page. A malicious account must save a crafted tax-rate name and wait for another authenticated user to open the listing; code then runs in that viewer's session context.
