Stored script execution via raw report-name rendering
Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 21, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Akaunting 3.0.4 through 3.1.19 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts injected through report names. The resources/views/common/reports/index.blade.php template renders $report->name with Blade raw-output syntax instead of encoding it. Report-edit access is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates a persisted hyperlink redirect in the report listing.
