CVE-2025-55482Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Service interruption via unchecked stack buffer write

Published Aug 20, 2025 · Updated Aug 20, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 firmware 15.03.06.23_multi allows remote attackers to interrupt service through crafted SetCfm requests. formSetCfm passes funcpara1 to save_list_data, where sprintf writes it into the fixed 64-byte stack buffer mib_name without length validation. CISA assesses the network request as requiring no prior privileges or user interaction; overflowing the buffer can corrupt stack memory and interrupt the router service.
