Stack-based buffer overflow in Freefloat FTP Server 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted NOOP command. The NOOP command handler accepts an overlong argument that reaches the saved return address after 246 bytes, allowing EIP to be replaced. The published exploit connects to TCP port 21, signs in anonymously, and executes Windows x86 shellcode in the FTP service process.
