Authenticated role-state modification via missing authorization
Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Youlai youlai-boot 2.21.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify administrative role status via the API. SysRoleController.updateRoleStatus and its service path update the selected role record without checking the caller's role-edit permission. A valid low-privilege access token is required; changing the administrator role's enabled state can block administrative backend use.
