Authenticated arbitrary file read via unchecked request path
Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025
Path traversal in Felix Luo oasys at commit 5b445a6227b51cee287bd0c7c33ed94b801a82a5 allows remote authenticated users to read files. The show/** image handler decodes the request URI, strips /show, joins the remainder to rootpath without traversal validation, and streams the resulting file. A valid JSESSIONID is required; exploitation discloses files readable by the server process, with no demonstrated write or execution impact.
