Invalid integer acceptance via missing upper-bound check
Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Input validation failure in mouse07410 asn1c 0.9.29 and earlier allows attackers to make UPER decoders accept out-of-range integers. The generated INTEGER UPER decoder omits the upper-bound check for positive constraints whose range exceeds 32 bits, although the encoder applies that constraint. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the downstream consequence depends on how consuming code uses the invalid decoded value.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
