Buffer over-read in Microsoft Windows Storage Management Provider allows local users to disclose information from affected Windows systems. The provider reads beyond an allocated buffer boundary, but Microsoft has not published the affected function, input, or request path. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and exposes memory contents without reported integrity or availability impact.
