CVE-2025-55313

Code execution via mishandled allocation failure

Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025

Memory corruption in Foxit PDF Reader and PDF Editor before 13.2 and before 2025.2 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PDF. The PDF JavaScript form-field handler accepts an extremely large charLimit value, then mishandles the resulting allocation failure and corrupts memory. Exploitation requires a local user on Windows or macOS to open the attacker-supplied document, after which code executes in the application's context.
