Information disclosure via unvalidated Start Page HTML
Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025
Arbitrary HTML injection in Foxit PDF Reader and Editor before 13.2 and 2025.2 allows local users to disclose information at launch. The Start Page feature stores static HTML in a user-writable location and loads it without validation when the application starts. Local users must first alter or replace that HTML and then induce application launch; the malicious HTML or JavaScript can read data available in the application's context.
