CVE-2025-55184Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Pre-authentication server hang via unsafe payload deserialization

Published Dec 11, 2025 · Updated Dec 11, 2025

Denial of service in React Server Components allows remote attackers to hang server processes via crafted Server Function requests. The Server Function request deserialization path processes attacker-controlled payloads without terminating, entering an infinite loop that consumes CPU. Exposure requires a server application using a framework, bundler, or plugin that supports React Server Components; client-only React code is unaffected.
