Database modification via unparameterized URL query
Published Aug 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 12, 2025
SQL injection in pyLoad before 0.5.0b3.dev91 allows remote authenticated users to modify or delete database data through add_links. The update_link_info method joins submitted URLs into statuses and directly interpolates that string into a SELECT IN clause instead of binding values. An account with package-add permission can reach the endpoint, and exploitation can corrupt stored data or interrupt database-backed operations.
