CVE-2025-55150Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated internal-resource requests via unchecked image URLs

Published Aug 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 12, 2025

SSRF in Stirling PDF before 1.1.0 allows remote attackers to make the server request internal resources through crafted HTML. The /api/v1/convert/html/pdf path preserves attacker-controlled image source URLs during OWASP HTML sanitization, and the downstream PDF converter dereferences them without network-destination checks. No authentication or user interaction is required when the endpoint is exposed, enabling requests to private, loopback, link-local, or cloud-metadata services.
