CVE-2025-55127Public exploitNetwork attack vector

User impersonation via untrimmed username whitespace

Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Improper whitespace neutralization in Revive Adserver 6.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to create deceptive usernames. The new-user validation accepts and stores usernames with leading or trailing whitespace instead of trimming or rejecting the edge characters. User-creation privileges are required, and the interface can render the crafted account like its legitimate counterpart, enabling account confusion or impersonation.
