Stored XSS via unescaped campaign names
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Stored XSS in Revive Adserver 6.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The inventory-retrieve.php script inserts dynamically loaded advertiser and campaign names into the navigation box without proper HTML escaping. The attacker must control a manager account and induce a logged-in administrator to switch advertisers or campaigns; session cookies remain inaccessible to JavaScript.
